With more than 75 years of manufacturing heritage, Charles Austen Pumps has invested heavily in state-of-the-art EDM and CNC machinery, precision injection moulding, and dedicated toolmaking facilities. This investment has tripled our UK production capacity and laid the foundation for the V2 Series, the next generation of intelligent, efficient, and compact condensate removal pumps. As the next evolution of our patented Rotary Diaphragm design, the V2 has been refined through advanced engineering and extensive testing in our Innovation Centre — the core of Charles Austen Pumps’ commitment to innovation, design excellence, performance, and British manufacturing.
Our engineers and research teams have spent years analysing performance data, reviewing customer feedback, and studying real-world installations to identify opportunities for improvement. Every insight gathered from installers, specifiers, and end users has shaped the development of the V2 Series. Each model has undergone rigorous testing in controlled environments that replicate extreme humidity, temperature variations, and contaminated condensate conditions to ensure durability, consistency, and long-term reliability.
At the centre of the V2Series is the CS2 Chip intelligence, an advanced control platform that enables real-time communication between internal components (Sensor > Motor > Rotary Diaphragm). This allows each pump to automatically adapt its output to match the actual condensate volume being produced. For example, when the CondenSense™ reservoir is only partially full, the pump adjusts its performance to suit, conserving energy, minimising mechanical wear and reducing sound levels. With more than 250 active touchpoints, CondenSense™ technology provides dynamic speed control, soft-start operation, and continuous energy optimisation.
Earlier generations of condensate pumps in the market operated at a single fixed speed, removing water at a constant rate regardless of system demand. The V2 Series replaces this one-dimensional approach with a fully variable-speed system that self-calibrates to the connected HVAC/R unit. Once installed, it continuously learns from its environment, automatically adjusting speed to maintain optimal performance while remaining exceptionally quiet.
A key advantage of this new design is its ability to retain full torque at all speeds. Even when operating at reduced RPM, the pump maintains the same discharge pressure and drainage capability as it would at full speed. This ensures reliable condensate removal and consistent discharge distances, regardless of flow rate or operating conditions. The result is smooth, efficient performance with no compromise in pumping power, only reduced energy consumption and sound levels.

The V2 Series will officially launch in November 2025, with the MiniBlue V2 and MaxiBlueV2already available and the MegaBlue V2 set to follow in 2026. This next-generation platform will continue to roll out across the entire product range, with additional models and enhancements scheduled throughout 2026 and beyond.
QUIET BY DESIGN
The V2 Series is engineered to deliver powerful performance with remarkably low noise output. Each unit features three integrated anti-vibration elastomeric feet, strategically designed to isolate the pump from its mounting surface and greatly reduce transmitted surface vibration.
To further enhance acoustic awareness, the V2 Series incorporates variable flow control with soft-start sequencing. Rather than starting at full output, the pump gently ramps up to the required operating level, eliminating unnecessary noise during start-up.
Thanks to this combination of smart engineering and advanced vibration management, the V2 Series can achieve sound levels as low as19 dBA, making it ideal for installations where quiet operation is essential.

DYNAMIC MONITORING
Dynamic Monitoring, powered by the advanced CS 2 microchip, delivers real -time performance analytics for smarter pump management. A volt -free alarm , rear LED indicators, and integrated audio alerts provide instant status updates, enabling rapid issue detection.
The system follows a clear three-stage sequence:solid greenfor normal operation;flashing greenwhile the pump removes condensate; andflashing redwith audio alert for faults. Even during errors, the pump continues running,maintaining reliabilityandperformance.

PLUG & PLAY
The V2Series delivers true plug and play convenience with a pre fitted power lead that simplifies installation from the start. Cable thickness and profiles are intentionally small, allowing easy routing in tight spaces and creating a clean, unobtrusive setup. The power lead is securely screwed into place so it cannot loosen during operation or servicing, ensuring consistent and reliable performance.
For additional simplicity, the CondenSense™ reservoirlead is shorter, eliminating the need for re-wiring making maintenance,swap out, orrelocationfast and straightforward. The result is a plug and play system designed for quick installation, dependable connections, and effortless servicing

Favoured among architects and design consultants, the MULTITANK can be used with either the MEGABLUE or MAXIBLUE pumps. Allowing installers to manifold a number of fan coil units into the 1.5 litre tank, the MULTITANK offers complete flexibility surrounding any multi-unit installation with up to six condensate lines.
The BLUEDIAMOND Fascia kit has been specially adapted to fit our brand new MICROBLUE condensate pump. It can accommodate the pump and reservoir with the ability to hide various cables and tubing at the same time. The Fascia kit has an easy-to-use detachable cover and can sit nicely under any Air Conditioning Unit.

Mounting feet have been specially designed to reduce noise in sound critical applications. They fit the entire BLUEDIAMOND range of pumps.
STEPPED ADAPTORS / C01-231/226
The blue flexible stepped adaptor (C01-231) and the black rigid stepped adaptor (C01- 26) fit various air conditioning manufacturer drain hoses, connecting the BLUEDIAMOND pump and suction line together.

Reservoir Sensor
With no moving parts the Reservoir Sensor offers a reliable alternative to stuck or sunken float switches. Incorporating our patented and proven thermistor technology the hi-low solid state level sensor only runs the pump when condensate is produced. With no moving parts to become clogged or stuck it is an ideal alternative to existing floating switches.
DrainStik
The patented DrainStik ™ is quick and simple to install or retrofit around any existing installation. The slim line probe, which houses the water sensors and high-level alarm can be directly mounted into the drain tube of all types of equipment.
Temperature Sensor
Hot - Cold thermistors mounted in air inlet and outlet of room unit sensing when cooling occurs. Runs pump constantly when A/C "on" regardless of whether producing condensate. Failsafe circuit inactive.
